About Us

Diane is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) and a Certified Canine Rehab Practitioner (CCRP). After moving to Portland and realizing there were no canine swim therapy and recreational swim centers she decided to open Paws Aquatics in 2009. When not working swimming dogs, Diane is usually busy jumping dogs. Her 3 Labrador Retrievers compete nationally in the sport of dock diving. Currently Diane only works at the Hillsboro location.

Over a decade ago, Halle was introduced to hydrotherapy when her young dog was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. While always interested in dogs, she had never considered the possibility of having a job working with them. That changed once she began seeing the positive effects swimming and water therapy had on her dog Bella. She became an instant believer in the healing benefits of warm water therapy for her dogs as well as herself.

Tyler has worked as a Lifeguard, and an Emergency Responder/Trainer for Intel. Leaving Intel due to medical reasons, he realized it was a great time to pursue work closer to a passion in life, the love of animals. He is currently enrolled in a program through the University of Tennessee to become a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT), and has been a Canine Rehab Assistant with Paws for 3 years. Accompanied by his companion dog Gordon, they enjoy being active in the outdoors and sports of all kinds.
